Consecutive Interpreting
Consecutive interpreting is the most common way to interpret spoken language. It distinguishes from other forms of interpreting in that it is performed when a speaker makes logical pauses, or sentence by sentence. It does not require any special equipment. Consecutive interpreting is considered more casual and comfortable for the interpreter. It ensures completeness and accuracy of the translated speech, although it does make the overall speech time somewhat longer.
