Whispered Interpreting
Whispered interpreting is different from simultaneous interpreting in that it is done in a low voice in the ear of one or two listeners and does not require any special equipment. Whispered interpreting requires maximum concentration, knowledge of the subject and control over one’s own voice in order to relay the information while diffusing the noise. Whispered interpreting works well at short negotiations or an event where interpreting is required by up to no more than three people.
